About Me
According to Bill Lawrence, leadership is the act of influencing and serving others out of a genuine interest in their lives so they accomplish their goals and develop to their fullest. As an administrator, everything begins and ends with a positive culture where staff and students feel safe to take risks, collaborate freely, dream big, and share ownership. As I continue my professional journey, I like to think of my career as one big learning experience that continuously grows with each project and collaboration, with a dedication to functionality and a curiosity for what’s ahead of the curve.
Ariel Perez, Teacher
“The coaching we have received has definitely prompted us to work more closely as a team, especially implementing small groups. The highest impact strategy that was introduced to me through coaching was the daily 5. It helps with classroom management, and is a great structure to manage the classroom with. I hated reading until we started teaching the Daily 5. The Daily 5 has also fostered more student ownership, they know what they're doing, and they're more independent.”
Arielle Solverson, Teacher
“ I found the data protocol very helpful and useful for guiding us through data-driven instruction."
Adrienne Morey, Principal
“Renee is able to provide consistent learning expectations for students regardless of if it is a whole group, small group, or one-on-one setting. COVID led to groups being run in a variety of locations, to include virtually, but her consistent expectations allowed for work to be accomplished. From taking over a class for one of the second grade teachers for a couple of weeks during a quarantine, to providing intervention groups remotely, Ms. Trainer (Templeton) did her best to engage students in learning throughout the year.”
